My favorite memory as a kid is my dad getting off work after a late shift but still being so excited to take us to the mall trick or treating, to friends at church, and family. It was one of his and our favorite things to do together. It meant a lot to him and it meant a lot to us.

He now takes our kids with us trick or treating. It’s his one thing each year he gets to see them enjoy. This year of course is different and more special. My dad had bladder cancer removed this year. It was horrible to see him go through that. We realize how week he can get and he had to rely on us for things. He moved in with us and now we moved in with him and it’s helping him grow stinger each day. We are so proud of him. He is now recovered.

So this year the kids, Gramps Mark my husband, and I will be having our own Halloween party with candy, games, pumpkin carving, movies, a lot of good food, Gramps loves too cook, and have fun. We can’t wait. We are also having a trunk or treat at church unless we have to cancel it due to the high covid count. But life is Good and God is Good! Thank you for the years of Halloween’s you have blessed me with my dad God! I don’t know what I would do with out him! Your and amazing God!
